Through this series I satirize the reductive comparison of women to flowers and explore anthropomorphizing a more complex feminine experience. Experiencing emotions of sorrow and desire, acts of rebellion, and confrontations with violence, these images prompt viewers to reconsider traditional metaphors and acknowledge the resilience and complexities of womanhood and femininity.
